Salmon Fishmeal

This is a brilliant fish feed ingredient with a fine texture and a ’smokey’ aroma. It is high in protein and low in oil with a golden brown colour. An excellent choice for any fishmeal bait. Another point worth mentioning is that its digestibility is 94%.

LT94 Fishmeal

A nice low temperature fishmeal which is very soluble. Use loads to create fast breakdown baits, or use with other fishmeals for controlled breakdown. It is possible to make this 50% of your total mix, but we use between 5 - 40% ourselves.

Soluble Fish Protein / Pre Digested Fish Meal

This is an ingredient that revolutionised fishmeal based baits. It aids the solubility, attraction, nutritional profile, and digestibility of your bait amongst other aspects. We use 75-150g per kilo dry mix for best results.

Krill Meal

Loads of mashed up Krill in a bag. In reality they are marine invertebrates whom Whales and suchlike eat lots of. Carp love the stuff too.

It’s light, orange(ish), and has a fluffy consistency. It has a strong aroma as well. Adding too much will make your bait soft, and maybe float if you’ve been greedy with it. We suggest using about 50g per kilo dry mix as a starting point for your own experimentation.

Squid Meal

Mashed up squid that have been placed into a bag in small bits (well we’re being honest). An ingredient with a coarse texture which is very very high in protein and contains plenty of amino acids. It will help to produce a firmer bait for you if you add a decent helping into your base mix and adds to the nutritional profile of your finished bait. We use between 50 - 300g per kilo dry mix.

Casein 90 Mesh

Human grade acid casein with a protein content in excess of 90%. This is not a soluble product, but it holds a fishmeal mix together very well. It has superb nutritional qualities and makes finished bait firmer. We use between 50-100g in a kilo of base mix.

Whey Protein Concentrate

This is produced in New Zealand (the best known source) and has an 80% protein content. It Helps to bind your mix, produces a decent ’skin’ on finished bait and contributes wonderfully to the nutritional profile of your bait. We use between 25-70g in a kilo of dry mix.

Calcium Caseinate

A brilliant milk product with a protein content of above 90%. It is very light and will give a ’spongy’ texture to your finished bait. Use with caution though, we recommend using between 5-10% in fishmeal base mixes.

We only sell the best that we can source. This is used most effectively when producing rock hard baits. With its high protein content it will add to the nutritional profile of the bait too. We suggest adding between 25 - 50g per kilo dry mix.

A quality, complete food milk powder. It has a sweet taste, a good oil and fibre content and is high in vitamins. It is a good binder - not in league with some of the concentrated milk proteins but we recommend using this product alongside them because carp love the stuff. Use between 25-100g per kilo of base mix.

The one and only from Haith’s, we distribute this in the same state as we recieve it. Full of attraction, not to mention colour. It is spicy, oily and messy. Use with full confidence in all seasons and in all base mixes. We recommend using between 50 - 200g per Kilo dry mix.
